Jenny Lê was born in Việt Nam, raised in the U.S., and built an empire from a single kitchen. As co-founder of the acclaimed Pho Bowl restaurants and author of From an Empty Bowl to Empire, she has spent her career turning stories of survival into structures of opportunity.

Đà Nẵng Rising W.F.C. is the next expression of that mission. As Executive Director, Jenny leads Vietnam’s first women-led football club with the same intensity and care she brought to her kitchens: building systems, mentoring talent, and turning a vision into a living, breathing community. She sees football as more than a game—it is a stage for girls to claim visibility, leadership, and belonging.

Jenny’s leadership is rooted in both grit and grace. She builds with one eye on the immediate needs of her players and the other on the generational legacy they will leave behind.

Đỗ Nhật Huy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Education – University of Đà Nẵng, building a strong foundation in communication and media.

He went on to spend nearly three years as a journalist at Công Lý and Công Thương newspapers, where he developed skills in analysis, diverse writing styles, and impactful storytelling under pressure. Alongside journalism, Huy has more than two years of experience in content marketing, specializing in digital media, brand strategy, and community engagement.

This dual background allows him to merge journalistic rigor with marketing strategy—creating credible content that inspires action. As Secretary and Team Manager of Đà Nẵng Rising W.F.C., Huy oversees administration while leading communications, brand identity, and sponsorship development.

For Huy, Đà Nẵng Rising is more than a football club—it is a model for women’s sports in Việt Nam, and a platform for empowerment, visibility, and social impact.

For more than sixteen years, Shanie Leung has kept the pulse of restaurant operations beating—balancing books, managing payroll, and ensuring teams have the structure to thrive. As Office and Payroll Manager at Tigers and Bears Restaurant Operations in Harvard Square, she has overseen multi-unit finances with precision, integrity, and the kind of consistency that builds trust over decades.

Her background spans hospitality leadership and legal administration, giving her a unique ability to navigate both the human and technical sides of business. Whether running front-of-house as a general manager or tracking every decimal in the ledger, Shanie approaches her work with quiet discipline and a deep belief that details are what sustain dreams.

At Đà Nẵng Rising, she ensures every dollar is accounted for, every resource aligned, and every decision backed by financial clarity—because in her eyes, transparency isn’t just good practice. It’s a promise to the community the club serves.

Andrew Williams is a born entertainer whose career has carried him from the Navy’s stages across Asia to the creative studios of Phoenix. A classically trained pianist and singer, Andrew began playing piano at six and went on to serve 20 years in the U.S. Navy Band, performing in more than a dozen countries and mastering the art of connecting with audiences across cultures.

Since retiring from military service, Andrew has built a multifaceted career as a performer, host, and creative collaborator—headlining events, producing original music, and lending his voice to projects that blend humor, storytelling, and heart. He is the co-creator, alongside Jenny Lê, of the animated series Slurp, which pairs cultural wit with emotional depth.

As a Director on the Đà Nẵng Rising Executive Board, Andrew brings both stage presence and strategic vision, championing the role of media, music, and storytelling in building a movement. His philosophy is simple but powerful: if you want to inspire change, you have to make people feel it.

Tiffany Chavez brings more than two decades of frontline and leadership experience in cardiothoracic surgery to the Đà Nẵng Rising boardroom. A Physician Assistant whose career spans elite medical institutions—including Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Stanford University Medical Center—she has built a reputation for precision, compassion, and calm under the highest stakes.

Her early work as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist took her from Escondido to Boston, mastering complex minimally invasive cardiac, endovascular, and interventional radiology procedures. Since earning her Physician Assistant certification through Stanford and her Master’s in Advanced Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University, Tiffany has dedicated her career to saving young lives while mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

On the Đà Nẵng Rising Executive Board, Tiffany lends her expertise in critical decision-making, team leadership, and long-term care strategy—helping shape a club culture where elite performance meets holistic well-being. Her vision mirrors her medical ethos: every life, every player, every heartbeat matters.

Tom Chung is a seasoned entrepreneur and sales leader with more than 20 years of experience scaling businesses across the U.S. A graduate of Cambridge College (MBA, BBA), he has built and managed companies in wholesale distribution, healthcare, and regulated industries—generating more than $16M in annual revenue and negotiating contracts with global corporations such as Philip Morris, Altria, Pepsi, and Coca-Cola.

As CEO and Co-Founder of 617 Therapeutic Health Center in Boston, he raised $15M in private capital to develop a cultivation and retail operation, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations. Earlier, as CEO and Co-Founder of Marks Wholesale, he oversaw more than 800 retail accounts and drove consistent multi-million-dollar growth through strategy, compliance, and operational excellence. Most recently, as National Sales Director for North America Innovation Tobacco, he spearheaded U.S. expansion into 11 territories, doubling revenue within a year.

On the Đà Nẵng Rising Executive Board, Tom brings his expertise in compliance, sales strategy, and organizational growth. His role is to help build financial and operational models that ensure the club’s sustainability—turning vision into long-term infrastructure and opportunity.

Eva Alpine is a Registered Dietitian with a deep commitment to improving quality of life through nutrition, education, and community connection. A graduate of Arizona State University’s Master’s program in Nutrition Sciences, she has built her career around evidence-based practice and accessible health education, with specialties in stress-related eating, maternal and child nutrition, and culturally responsive care.

From her work helping to build the WIC program at Valle Del Sol to passing the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) exam with distinction, Eva has combined technical expertise with an empathetic approach to public health. She brings years of experience in clinical nutrition, research, and program development—always guided by the belief that food is both medicine and community.

As a Director for Đà Nẵng Rising, Eva helps shape the club’s approach to athlete wellness, recovery, and nutrition education. Her vision is clear: create an environment where young women are nourished not just to play the game, but to thrive far beyond it.

Đỗ Mạnh Cường is an award-winning journalist and communications leader, serving as Head of the Central Highlands – South Central Office for Báo Công Lý (Vietnam’s Justice Newspaper). A graduate of Hue University of Sciences, he has built a career defined by accuracy, responsibility, and impact.

Originally from Hướng Hóa, Quảng Trị and now based in Đà Nẵng, Cường has spent more than a decade amplifying stories that matter—earning multiple commendations from provincial courts in Đắk Lắk, Kon Tum, and Gia Lai, along with recognition from Báo Công Lý itself. His reporting and leadership are guided by a commitment to truth, transparency, and public service.

As a Director of Đà Nẵng Rising W.F.C., he brings his expertise in media, community trust, and regional leadership to the board. His role is to help elevate the club’s voice—ensuring it resonates with credibility, cultural pride, and national reach.
