A legend of Vietnamese football, Đoàn Thị Kim Chi has spent her life breaking records—and now, she’s building futures. As a former midfielder, she won 4 SEA Games gold medals, earned 4 Vietnamese Women’s Golden Ball awards, and led Hồ Chí Minh City I to multiple league titles.
Now one of the most respected coaches in the country, Kim Chi blends tactical mastery with emotional intelligence. As assistant coach to the national team and head coach at club level, she’s known for her quiet power, thoughtful discipline, and ability to see potential where others see pressure.
We dream of Kim Chi leading Đà Nẵng Rising’s first year with heart, integrity, and generational wisdom.

Đà Nẵng Rising is seeking a grounded, emotionally fluent assistant coach to help guide the day-to-day heart of the team. This role isn’t just about drills — it’s about mentorship, trust, and transformation.
Our ideal coach is Vietnamese-speaking with a strong background in youth development, tactical growth, and trauma-informed leadership. They’ll live on-site with the players, support emotional and physical wellness, and be the quiet thread that holds the team together.
This isn’t just a staff position.
It’s a sacred role in building legacy.
